Hanoi: Tradition and authenticity

At the center, Hoan Kiem Lake is a symbol steeped in legend. According to tradition, it was here that the king returned a magical sword to a giant tortoise after liberating the country. Surrounded by gardens and red bridges like the Huc Bridge , this lake is a favorite place for a stroll.

During a boat trip in Lan Ha Bay , we stopped for a swim. The water was a deep green, but the murky bottom made me hesitant. On the roof of the boat was a twelve-meter diving board . At first, fear paralyzed me, and I couldn't bring myself to jump. Then, almost without thinking, I went for it. That jump was a turning point.

Fear gave way to excitement , and I did it several times. This experience showed me that often, all it takes is daring to overcome your fears to discover new joys. This challenge became a pleasure and a great source of personal satisfaction.
