What awaits you

Nestled in a mountainous region, Chang Mai captivates with its ancient temples and peaceful atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok .

Strolling through the old city, encircled by ramparts, allows you to discover more than thirty historical temples, such as Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh . It's also an opportunity to relax in one of the thousands of cafes scattered throughout the region. Indeed, the area is prized by coffee lovers due to the renowned quality of its beans.

Chiang Mai is also known for its lively markets, such as the Night Bazaar , and its lantern festival (in November) like the Yi Peng , where thousands of lanterns rise into the sky, creating a magical spectacle.

Nature lovers will be well served with the surrounding national parks, including Doi Inthanon, the highest point in Thailand , and Ban Mae Kampong , which I highly recommend.

Of course, the unmissable ethical sanctuary Pon Elephant , which houses several elephant families where you can feed them and bathe with them.
